Solo exhibition of the well-known artist Abulfaz Farajoglu (Jabbarov) called "RUNNING POINT"
The Exhibition Gallery of the Museum Center invites you to the solo exhibition of the well-known artist Abulfaz Farajoglu (Jabbarov) called "RUNNING POINT". 16 graphics and 91 paintings of the artist will be displayed at the exhibition.
In the complex layers of artistic processes occurring in modern fine art, sometimes you must face unforeseen events. In other words, although the general flow restrains the emotions of all, a force is found that can attract the attention and sympathy of the audience. Thus, the viewer seems to be a little tired of the complicated symbolism and paradoxes of contemporary image concepts, and naturally reacts quickly with gratitude to such a calm and reliable voice directed at him. At the end of the last century (1982), Abulfaz Farajoglu, who began to take his first steps in the field of Azerbaijani visual arts, was one of the owners of such a "voice". In the artist's new solo exhibition called "Vanishing point", it is possible to get acquainted with his works that combine tradition and modernity.
As the aesthetics of painting and graphic works in the artist's forty-year-long creativity tend to be renewed, as a rule, his works of various genres, displayed in exhibitions organized both in Azerbaijan and abroad, have always been the focus of the audience. Those who appear in such art examples, which are an expression of disbelief in reality, are often perceived as attractive as well as thought-provoking, as they are familiar to the artist's imagination.
In our opinion, the artistic-aesthetic innovation and modernity of the works of various genres created by him were the successful conclusion of the author's attempts to renew the known art criteria, unusual manifestations of removing colors from the essence of ordinary paint in these works, which are far from ideological burden. Since the artist's unique talent for being surprised by what he saw was the basis of this, these works - such a different and unique interpretation were perceptibly new and interesting for others. Since the artist painted not to recognize what he saw, but to introduce it, he demonstrated that he was above addiction and "surrender" to the object, and in the end, he stood above painting.
In such works, it is as if our world has lost its traditional appearance. It is because the artist managed to put the shadow of the psychological umbrella of time on his own life, that the spiritual and psychological problems that are still walking with us look a bit "naked", giving wings to the emotions of the viewer who forget when they fly.
As a whole, Abulfaz Farajoglu's avant-garde creativity, which covers various topics and genres, can be considered a visual demonstration of the fact that inspiration does not obey nature. The presentation of various events, motifs, images, landscapes, and natural gifts is often slightly different from what everyone sees and presented in an artistically stylized form. If we say as a conclusion that this kind of artistic approach to reality occupies a worthy place in the overall landscape of modern Azerbaijani painting, we will express the truth. That is why the audience is looking for the artist's works with various themes in the exhibition halls...
