«Face to Face with Time» an exhibition within the project «Reincarnation 5»

On March 12, 2019 in the Art Gallery of the Museum Center the opening ceremony of the exhibition named “Zamanla Üz-Üzə” ("Face to Face with Time") organized by Gobustan National Historical- Artistic Preserve will take place. More than 40 original works on Gobustan by members of the Azerbaijan Artists' Union will be exhibited in the framework of “the Reinkarnation 5” project. Works are presented in format of painting, sculpture and ceramics, video installation. The goal of the project, which brings 18-20 thousand years old Gobustan rock carvings with the new interpretation to attention of the visitors, is to raise the interest of art figures in the art of Gobustan cultural heritage as well as promoting it. The exhibition, reflecting the views of art figures about Gobustan rock carvings in the modern interpretation , which is considered to be the oldest examples of art in Azerbaijan, is organized by the Gobustan National Historical Preserve funding and with the partnership of the Union of Artists of Azerbaijan and the Museum Center. The exhibition will be open for visitors within three days ( on March 12 at 19:00 pm- the opening day of the exhibition, on March 13 -14, from 10:00 am to 18:00 pm).
