"Winter present"

From December 2010 to January 2011 the Art Gallery of the Museum Center once again gladdened the audience with a Christmas exhibition titled "Winter present". The exposition united as a well-known contemporary Azerbaijani artists and young artists representing the best trends of contemporary art.
Winter is a time of celebration of the New Year! Visitors passed the winter mood suggested by the artists. After all this it is a time of gifts, surprises and dreams and change expectations. The belief in a miracle which will certainly come true! The “winter” paintings of contemporary Azerbaijani artists reminded as not only of winter, but of a miraculous time, delivering something unknown and exciting. Looking at the work of our artists, each member of the audience was able to recover the value of the holiday in his soul. The exhibition presented 52 paintings, 17 graphic works, 8 sculptures, 2 batiks and 2 screens.
This exhibition was made up of the best works of the fund in our gallery. Particular attention was paid to the décor and design of exhibition. Impeccable design gives the interior a special charm. Therefore, attention was paid to the use of decoration in the design of the exhibition. Selection of Christmas accessories and fabric gave the exposition a harmonious, stylish and finished look.
