Opening of Culture Days of Jordan in Azerbaijan

As generally known, Baku was declared in 2009 the capital of Islam culture. On this occasion within a year international conferences, symposiums, days of culture of Islam countries and different enterprises were held in our city. One of such enterprises was the Week of Jordanian Culture. The ceremonial opening of the Week of Jordanian Culture was held on October 20, 2009 in the Round Hall of Museum Center. 30 pictures, 49 picturesque works were presented in the exhibition, as well as the articles of decorative applied art.

On the opening ceremony were present the ambassador of Jordan in Azerbaijan Adel Muhammad Adailekh, leader of the Jordanian delegation Sukheir d'al-Khadidi, manager of the department of cultural connections in the ministry of culture of Jordan Mrs. Rena D'Abdulla al-Khidzhaiya, deputy minister of culture and tourism of Azerbaijan Adalyat Veliev, representatives of the ministry of culture and tourism of Azerbaijan, embassies of Jordan and representatives of different state organizations. In the first day of the program the record films of movie companies of Jordan were demonstrated under the title «Jordanian Miracle» and «My Jihad», the national suits of this country were presented, appearance of song-dancing group «Mountain of at -Tafila» took place. In subsequent days the weeks of the Jordanian culture were rotined record films: «Rosening», «My city», «Be careful, before you comment», «I am Gaza», «Calmness».
