The International project of US State Department “Promotion of modern conceptual art in USA”
On 9 - 30 October 2005, the head of International Relations Department of the Museum Centre Amina Melikova participated in the international training “Promotion of modern conceptual art in USA” organised by the US State Department and the US Embassy in Azerbaijan.During this three-week training programme, the participants (the representatives of museums, galleries and other cultural institutions of Azerbaijan) visited the following US cities: Washington, New York, Chicago, Syracuse, Tulsa and Oklahoma.
The State Department organised visits to US museums and galleries and arranged meetings with assignees of the leading American art-studios where the representatives could share their experience and establish international relations.relations.
