About Museum Center

About Museum Center

The building of the Museum Center of the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic is located in the very center of Baku, on the Seaside Boulevard; it was constructed in 1960 in a project led by outstanding Azerbaijani architect Hasan Majidov to commemorate the 90th anniversary of V.I.Lenin and was opened in 1961 as a branch of the Moscow Lenin Museum.
In 1991, following the collapse of the USSR, by decree of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic the building was transferred to the Ministry of Culture of the Azerbaijan Republic and renamed the Museum Center.

In the Museum Center are disposed

Museum Center Objects

Also on the fourth floor of the building, in five rooms, are found:

- An Art Gallery, which is one of the biggest and most beautiful in the city

- A Round Ceremonial hall, below the glass cupola of the building, for the holding of presentations, ceremonies, concerts and other important governmental events.

- An Assembly hall is situated between the second and third floors. This is a venue for conferences, round tables, seminars, symposia, cinema evenings and other events.

«Bakı - İslam mədəniyyətinin paytaxtı-2009» ilinin açılışı münasibətilə vebsaytın təqdimatı və sərgi

Mən 40 il təcrübəsi olan muzey işçisi Amaliya Rza qızı çox tez-tez Muzey Mərkəzində keçirilən sərgilərdə iştirak edirəm. Ümumiyyətlə, Muzey Mərkəzinin təşkil etdiyi hər bir tədbir canlı körpüdür. Burada nümayiş etdirilən foto, tablo, heykəl əl işləri Azərbaycanın incə sənətkarlığı müxtəlif istedadlardan zövqlə toplanıb seyrciləri məmnun edir. Bunun üçün mən Muzey Mərkəzinin müdiriyyətinə, hər bir işçisinə minnətdarlığımı bildirirəm. Müəllif olan sənətkarlarla isə böyük qürur hissi duyuram. Amaliya Rza qızı

“Ermənistanın Azərbaycana təcavüzünün 20 ili” adlı rəsm müsabiqəsi

Mədəniyyət Nazirliyinə, Muzey Mərkəzinə “Müharibə uşaqların gözü ilə” Ermənistanın Azərbaycana qarşı təcavüzünün 20 illiyinə, Xocalı Soyqırımının 16 illiyinə həsr olunmuş Uşaqdan Uşağa Sülh Şəbəkəsinin təşkil etdiyi sərginin dəstəklənməsinə görə öz minnətdarlığımı bildirirəm. Bu sərginin uşaqlarımızı, gənclərimizi vətənpərvərlik, sülhpərvərlik ruhunda tərbiyyələndirməkdə olduqca böyük əhəmiyyəti var.
Sülh uzaqda deyil, uşaqları bu günlərə hazırlamaq vacibdir.
